I love everything about the Alexander McQueen S/S 2012 range. Everything is mind-blowing. Well done to Sarah Burton, she did a great job.

Despite losing our beloved Lee, I believe McQueen will continue to stay strong and represent the style that it began with. R.I.P.

Lana Del Rey

I have recently been listening to some songs by the fresh, new, NYC-born, flower princess of pop, Elizabeth Grant (better known as Lana Del Rey). 

She describes herself as the "gangsta Nancy Sinatra", and her music shows a weirder touch on mainstream pop music. Her debut single "Video Games" is captivating, magical and mysterious. While "Blue Jeans" is more controversial, as it brings in religious symbolism, which adds to the odd, fantastical sound of the song.

I'm really, really loving this girl at the moment and I am so excited for her debut album!

Lana Del Rey is definitely one to watch.

Hanna

A couple of nights ago I watched the most adorable, quirky yet gritty and violent film ever! It's called 'Hanna' and it's about a German teenage girl who's lived in a forest with her father all her life, and how she's unleashed into the real world. It shows her struggle to discover her past, who she is, and the secret to why a certain person is after her! It's beautifully filmed and sort of leaves you in a nice mood after watching, I really really recommend it!

Hello, I'm Mikey and I guess this is a little introduction to my blog & myself ∩( ・ω・)∩
I am a sixteen-year-old boy from the suburbs of London. I am currently studying an extended diploma in art & design. I aspire to be some sort of photographer or have a career in the fashion industry, this blog will hopefully help me to kickstart that sort of thing.
This blog will consist of mostly inspirations of mine, photos of editorial or fashion shows, my own photos & day-to-day happenings of my life. 


I love anything Japanese, the culture of Tokyo is so appealing to me and I've always grown up in admiration of most things Japanese. My life-long dream is to live and work there someday.
My favourite time of year is summer, solely because it's the festival season (＾▽＾)
